Everything You Always Wanted on cheese curd
by mr.cameron | 12:50 PM in Always, cheese, Everything, Wanted | ความคิดเห็น (0)
If cheese on top of your "favorite food list ', then you must carefully (and I mean thoroughly) read this article. Curd is another variety, the growing number of cheese products. But before want to taste this delicious food, we first understand how it happened, and why keep it here.
Cheese is likely to be discovered by an unknown nomads. These nomads lived in the Middle East and was, as the legend would say, on the way to a very long journey. He preparednot by pouring in a lot of milk in a saddlebag. Unfortunately for him (and) luckily for cheese lovers out there, the milk after several hours of riding under the sun curdled. What will become of the white milk curds with liquid!
The science behind this is the saddlebag is an enzyme (rennet), which causes coagulation. The lab-enzyme can be found in the pocket, as it is produced from the stomach of young cows. Now, dear, the rest as we all say thatHistory.
Cheese, cottage cheese, although it was probably made much earlier, were reportedly discovered by chance by some scientists cheese (UW) in their attempt to create a pure cholesterol product that is still creating the squeaking sound. The laboratory rat, the first cheese curd was then drinking beer can be consumed.
A New York Times in 1911, relative to the other side, a very old Celtic songs (about the 12th century), called when cheese curds. This song wasentitled "Visions of MacGonlannee. you now have a rough idea of how old curds are not you?
While most cheeses would be approximately 60 days, curd can be "harvested" way, way before they are coagulated cheese. So, in essence, Quark "premature" cheese.
Cheese curd products are of cheddar cheese with fresh (or at least most of them, some can of mozzarella, Colby or Monterey Jack cheese) are made. While most cheeses would be approximately 60 dayscongeal, curd can be "harvested" way, way before they make cheese. So, in essence, Quark "premature" cheese.
And the best way is to eat fresh by eating them. The good news? Canada and the United States have many shops that sell cheese curds at retail. There are also many worry factories that produce them (ie, not about running Quark stocks!).
The first two places, the manufacture and sale of cheese, cottage cheese are: Quebec and Wisconsin. So, ifThey are not from one of two places, or are a long way from factories to manufacture the cheese curds, then they could be foreign.
The best part of eating is to the "fresh" squeal to hear. It takes only twelve hours before they are unfresh. Another twelve hours later and they are nothing more than useless cheese.
Cream cheese is about the size of peanuts and are usually orange in color. It tastes similar to other dairy products and are about as solid as most cheeses. TheDifference is, cheese, cottage cheese have rubber-like structure as compared to cheese that has the texture of clay. And unlike most of the junk foods that are crunchy, moist curds and cool, while the same salty taste of the regular snacks.
There are several ways to serve cheese, cottage cheese. In Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota, cheese, cottage cheese are usually fried and served at fairs and festivals, and sometimes in bars and fast food chains (Culver's and A & W Restaurants are examples). These are treated initially with deep-fried batter (beer-based), like what is covered in onion rings. In the absence of this kind of dough is used, the usual breading. The good thing about this? It tastes like mozzarella sticks.
Another popular way of eating is cheese curd: poutine. This is a French-Canadian recipe that tops French fries with cheese curd that is oozing with delicious sauce. Yet another way of consumption is by sprinkling of cheese in powder form, thatspiced: garlic, jalapeno, Cajun, chipotle, pesto, red pepper, butter, pepper and lemon), then they serve as potato chips.
Cheese curd are sure rare. As already mentioned, there are only a handful of places where they are made and enjoyed. While curds are available for everyone to enjoy, for those who let us say you are the lucky ones on earth!

Restaurant Order Online - Is it a blessing or a curse?
by mr.cameron | 7:52 AM in blessing, curse?, Online, Restaurant | ความคิดเห็น (0)
You can do everything on the Internet these days, more and more people are relying on the Internet to all kinds of things that make their daily lives more convenient. On paper the idea of introducing an online ordering service is sounds exciting restaurateurs. After all you that are formed on sales before your customer ever steps through the door?
At this point it is above all the national chains that have introduced online ordering system, many of them with some considerable success. Butas the technology becomes more advanced, like the integration with your In-House POS system and cost could be implemented, many smaller companies seriously considering the implementation of an online ordering system.
And as this technology trend continues, many probably from the school of hard knocks by Chipotle Mexican Grill, with online ordering. If Chipotle launched its online ordering function a few years ago to learn, it was almost too successful. Orderspoured into a chain of locations, and the staff are trying to fill online orders are often in the way of the staff are trying to take care of customers in the store.
How many times have you walked into a restaurant, taken a look at the line and went straight out again? Traditionally, this is how food service times its height has regulated and prevents extremely long waiting times. If customers have when ordering online, but you have no idea how many people are already waiting inLine. This created all sorts of problems for Chipotle, because online orders kept pouring in, even though the restaurant was already full.
A great problem to have, right? Chipotle responded by a special prep line for online orders in the busiest locations. In addition, simplifying the order generation process, and additional staff for peak times.
For smaller companies, there are a couple of hours to think about it. Sooner or later, you willLikely to have online ordering, especially as customers begin and start to benefit everyone expects the same service as Chipotle and other large companies. In addition, an online ordering system really can contribute to sales and customer convenience, which makes the concept very appealing, all restaurateurs.
Be prepared. Sale over the Internet will not come during the afternoon weigh. They're going in when everyone else is hungry pour: Law for lunch andDuring the dinner rush. When you first start out, have some additional staff. You do not know how to shake go online orders, and the last thing you want is to compromise the service your in-house customers because you can 't keep up with online orders.
Manage Order Flow learned. As Chipotle, with two teams, one working on passing trade and the other dedicated to selling over the Internet is a great idea in theory, but when the two teams competing forthe same food prep resources, problems and inefficiencies arise. Make sure to develop to be a way to both teams, either their own resources or a way of orders from two sources that your staff can deal with them in a reasonable way to integrate them.
Be flexible. Every restaurant is different, and everyone is trying an online ordering service will be presented with a unique problem. No matter how well you prepare, something goes wrong to Be.prepared to make adjustments and optimize continue your service until you correct it according to your personal circumstances.
For many restaurants, online ordering seems like a distant prospect. But I would be willing to bet it's a trend that creeps up faster to the food service industry than most realize, and when the day comes for your restaurant, no matter how large or small, come to accept people be prepared from the Internet.

An Introduction to Mexican Cooking
by mr.cameron | 7:40 AM in Cooking, Introduction, Mexican | ความคิดเห็น (0)
As the name suggests, Mexican cuisine is a kind of food that originated in Mexico, with some dishes that have an influence of Spanish and Middle Eastern cuisine. Mexican cuisine uses a variety of local spices and other ingredients and is known for its diverse flavors and decorated colorfully known.
Mexican cuisine has a long and interesting history and its culture, cooking methods and into the variety of foods, all blended. It is already 320 AD, a date that is inscribed on a JadePlate discovered in North-Tikal Guatemala. The museum in Leiden, The Netherlands houses of this plate, which gave an insight into the early Mayan culture. The Maya Indian Empire included the regions of Guatemala, Belize, Veracruz, Yucatan, and the entire southeast of Mexico up to the present-day Mexico City.
The period from 700 AD-1000 AD saw fierce fighting between the Toltecs from the north of Mexico and the Maya Indians, who are in the Toltecs, the dominant force in theRegion. For the next 200 years the Aztecs, Toltecs and Mayas fought with and took control of the region. They brought avocados, honey, squash, guava and raised ducks, pigs and turkeys. However, rice, beans and maize was the staple food of the Mayas.
The earliest Maya were basically hunters and gatherers and were followed everywhere where the food was. You could eat well, if the food was in abundance but had sparingly, if food was a shortage. As they grew their ownFood in the form of maize, beans and spices, but also for food with people changed from neighboring regions. In fact, were part of the economic exchange and trade standards.
Maize was the staple food of the Mayas, which was used fresh in salsas, and then made to dry in order to preserve it. How dry grain was not easy to grind by hand, would the women in lime-boil water to soak for some time and overnight. The skin of the corn kernels would burst and expand as a result, the water absorbs. The women then removed his skin and flushed to remove a couple of times, to the lime. The whole kernels (today) hominy, could then be used in a cold weather stew or dried to make just nixtamal. This nixtamal was subsequently ground on a metate and mano to masa or dough for tortillas and tamales. The Mayans used the same method with molcajete and tejolote for spices and other ingredients for guacamole and salsa to grind.
The Mayan culture discourages waste of food, so people saved in the fineFlour from the grinding to mix it with water to make a cool drink. In fact, she only drank water that was mixed with fruit juice or corn flour.
It is interesting that the Mayan way of life changed with location. Those who live on the coast had a lot of seafood in their diet, collected fruits, berries and vegetables grown chili peppers and squash. The fresh foods were eaten either raw / lightly grilled or made into sauces. Consequently, they had a healthy and balanced diet.On the other hand, people with low and hunted upland gathered wild animals, fruits and berries, and cultivated a few vegetables and fresh foods have as their meals.
A number of Mexican Indian food historians claim that the Aztecs were the first, the introduction of chocolate. However, some believe that the Mayan Chocolate, which have been used for hundreds of years before the Aztecs and the Aztecs simply increased its lead as the only drink for nobles, warriors, and for events. Theybelieved that chocolate or cocoa, the "Food of the Gods" and any person violating this practice has been sentenced to death. Like the Aztecs, Toltecs also believed that their kings were descendants of the gods and warriors, and so were the drink just for them.
The chocolate was a gift to the new world of the ancient world, when Hernando Cortes took a piece of chocolate to Spain in 1519. 2 years later, Spain was Mexico and brought several new foods such as pigs, cows, dairy products and spicesWhich had a large impact on Mexican food.
The tropical rain forests near the equator had an ideal climate for the cultivation of cocoa beans, as it only has two seasons, was dry and wet. The beans, after they obtained from the fruit of the cacao tree were harvested and dried, either as a currency for trade with neighboring tribes or ground used to make chocolate for a special occasion. This resulted in the people's awareness of the value of the cocoa plants. The Toltec, Mixtec, Aztec and Spaniards were desperate,Cocoa plant possess the lands and fought against the Mayas for them.
The influence of the invading troops from major changes in the traditional Mayan food, but even then, they were healthy foods. Mexican food began with fresh ingredients. Today, with our advanced food processing and storage techniques, we shared a healthy and fresh Mexican food for harmful calories, minerals and preservatives. No wonder that Mexican food has changed drastically.
